Reshaping NYC's Skyline
So I was on the BQE in Brooklyn and I noticed this beautiful, new building across the river. It is massive in height and structurally dominating. There is an organic element to the design in that it has a ripple effect which mirrors the water of the river surrounding it. The world-renowned architect Frank Gehry just recently opened up the doors to 8 Spruce Street. The building, at 870 feet, 76 stories high and about 1 million square feet is set to be the tallest residential skyscraper in the entire Western Hemisphere.

WOW IT REALLY DOES CAPTURE THE ELEMENT OF WATER. ONE THING I MISS ABOUT LIVING IN BROOKLYN WAS BEING ABLE TO SEE THAT PRECISE VIEW AND NOW THAT THE TWIN TOWERS ARE GONE, THIS BUILING HAS REVIVED THE SKYLINE.
